Patient Review

I love this practice. I have been going for 10 years. Dr. Moy is very professional, reassuring and expert. He does not recommend needless procedures. My regular hygienist, Helen, who is wonderful, was absent today, so I had Laurie-also wonderful! I highly recommend the practice!

Two crowns broke within one week of each other. My insurance deny the claim for the replacement because they told them the crown was stolen.

Patient Review

A few years ago my long time dentist retired. In search of a new dentist led me to google reviews. The dental practice Dechter and Moy came up with very good reviews. Have been going to practice for two years and have had many procedures done. The office is well run. Dr. Moy is a very good dentist and feel happy to have found him. One major benefit is the cutting edge technology the office uses. There is a machine that makes a permanent crown right there at the office. This allows maximum efficiency, for in one appointment everything can be accomplished. The other efficiency is their ability to do a root canal. My previous dentist (who was excellent) sent me to a specialist for a previous root canal. The practice takes my dental insurance (Aetna) and handles the estimate and billing very well.

This is not a review of either Doctor Dechter or Doctor Moy. They are good dentists. This is a review of their front office staff, whom you have to deal with in order to get an appointment or possibly get a wuestion answered. I thought I had found my new dentists. I haven’t because I cannot get past their front office. I could say that they do not understand English would be a good possibility. It goes further than that. They understand nothing. The simplest question or tequest from me, a newly-establisded patient, is met eith silence or or worse - bring put on eternal hold or disconnected several times in every instance. This is a small suburban practice - ot the Mayo Clinic. They have 2 rooms - one that has the capacity to accommodate nitrous oxide and one that foes not. Even though. I have told them to put on my chart that I ALWAYS want nitrous oxide and I remind them each time of this I vet put in the “ other room.” I call to adk a simple question. I never get an snswer. To leave a message is incomprehensible to them. I am out of time on here. I could go on. Call them at your peril. I am searching for a new practice.
