Afsoun, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Afsoun joined our team after graduation from Howard University as a Registered Dental Hygienist (R.D.H) in 2006.

Afsoun was born in Iran and she speaks both Persian and Turkish.

One of her favorite quotes is from Maya Angelou, “If you find it in your heart to care for somebody else, you will have succeeded.”

During her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and gardening.

“Since oral hygiene contributes to overall health, my goal is to aid patients in attaining their optimum oral health. I really enjoy helping my patients have the best oral health possible.”

Kanene, BS

Dental Hygienist

Kanene K is orginally from Portland, OR. She moved to the Washinton, DC area in 1999 to attend the HOward University College of Dentistry. SHe obtained her B.S. from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2003.

Kanene has worked in the dental field for over 15 years, starting out as a dental oral surgery assistant. She is an avid tennis player and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.

Dawn, AA

Dental Assistant

Dawn received her A.A. degree from Montgomery College and has over 17 years experience as a Maryland Certified Dental Assistant.

Dawn lives in Frederick, MD and has 3 children: Nick, Andrew, and Anna. During her free time, she enjoys Pilates, cooking and being in the sunshine.

Florence, BS

Dental Hygienist

Florence .C started working for us part time 10 years ago recently she joined out ream full time in 2016.
She is from Haiti and speaks French, Spanish and Creole. Florence obtained her degree from Allegany.

Florence loves to smile! A visit with Florence is always fun! She will always want to make you smile.


Dental Assistant

Aleyda’s hometown is in Colombia and she is fluent in Spanish. Aleyda enjoys spending time with family and cooking.

Aleyda is a lifelong patient and recently joined the team in 2017, she has over 15 years experience as a dental assistant.

Vicky, CDA, COO

Dental Assistant

Vicky received her D.D.S degree from Centro Escolar University College of Dentistry- Manila, Philippines. She moved here 16 years ago in May and quickly achieved her expanded functions Dental Assistant Degree.

Vicky really enjoys cooking and hiking in her spare time. She is fluent in English and Tagalog and conversational in Spanish and German.

Dental Assistant

Lucys hometown is in Peru and she is fluent in Spanish. Lucy has a 17 year old son, Sergio and she enjoys playing soccer with him, as well as Miranda who is 8 years old. We have two new arrivals including Matias who is now 7 years old and Ulises who is now 4 years old.

Lucy is very conscientious and diligent. She takes pleasure in interacting with our patients and making them feel welcome.

Schedule Coordinator

Zoila is a native Washingtonian she is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys spending time with her family!

Zoila received her associates from Montgomery College. She spent 3 years after graduating working in marketing. Zoila joined the practice in 2015.

Sydney has been with our practice since she was 3 months old. She is the assistant at the front desk and often time is a therapy dog to help with anxiety. Patients often times will change appointments if they find that Sydney has the day off.
