Afsoun, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Afsoun joined our team after graduation from Howard University as a Registered Dental Hygienist (R.D.H) in 2006.

Afsoun was born in Iran and she speaks both Persian and Turkish.

One of her favorite quotes is from Maya Angelou, “If you find it in your heart to care for somebody else, you will have succeeded.”

During her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and gardening.

“Since oral hygiene contributes to overall health, my goal is to aid patients in attaining their optimum oral health. I really enjoy helping my patients have the best oral health possible.”

 


Wendy, RDH

Registered Hygienist


Wendy is a Maryland native.  She graduated from Woodward High School and continued her education at the University of Maryland where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Wendy has been a hygienist for 35 years and is an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association.

When she’s not making beautiful smiles, she likes to read, hike, play volleyball, golf, and travel.  She also motorcycles with her husband, PJ, on the weekends. 


Dawn, AA

Dental Assistant

Dawn received her A.A. degree from Montgomery College and has over 17 years of experience as a Maryland Certified Dental Assistant.

Dawn lives in Frederick, MD, and has 3 children: Nick, Andrew, and Anna. During her free time, she enjoys Pilates, cooking, and being in the sunshine.

“Caring for people and making them smile is certainly an advantage to working in this practice, as well as the amazing and diligent team of staff and doctors.”

Florence, RDH

Dental Hygienist

Florence started working for us part-time many years ago. She recently joined our team full-time in 2016. She is from Haiti and speaks French, Spanish, and Creole.  Florence obtained her degree from Alleghany College of Maryland.

Florence loves to smile! A visit with Florence is always fun! She will always want to make you smile.



Aleyda

Dental Assistant

Aleyda’s hometown is in Colombia and she is fluent in Spanish. Aleyda enjoys spending time with family and cooking.

Aleyda is a lifelong patient and recently joined the team in 2017.  She has over 20 years of experience as a dental assistant.

Lucy

Dental Assistant

Lucy’s hometown is in Peru and she is fluent in Spanish. Lucy enjoys playing soccer with her oldest son Sergio, as well as her daughter Miranda. She also stays busy with her two younger sons Matias and Ulises.

Lucy is very conscientious and diligent. She takes pleasure in interacting with our patients and making them feel welcome.

Gabby

OFFICE MANAGER

Gabby came to the U.S at the age of 9 and grew up in Rockville MD.  She had a brief military experience when she joined the Marines, serving from 2000-2004. Once she finished serving her country she came back to MD to be closer to her mom.  Currently, Gabby is a single mother of 3 whom she tries to spend most of her time with when she is not at work.

Gabby enjoys hanging out and playing with her kids around the neighborhood.  She loves exercise classes at the gym and hiking in her spare time.  Gabby is also fluent in Spanish.


Mitzy

Receptionist

Born and raised in Maryland, Mitzy received her A.A. degree at Montgomery College in 2019. Although she is fairly new to the dental field, she is always eager to learn more about it.

When she isn’t in the office, Mitzy enjoys working out, eating Korean food with her friends, and traveling. So far, Mitzy has visited Bolivia, Italy, South Korea, and Japan. 

A quote she lives by is, “Go big, or go home.”


Sydney

Official Greeter

Sydney has been with our practice since she was 3 months old. She is the assistant at the front desk and often times is a therapy dog to help patients with anxiety. Patients oftentimes will change appointments if they find that Sydney has the day off.
